The History of Careers at PepsiCo

PepsiCo was created in 1965 by the merger of two great companies -- Pepsi-Cola and Frito-Lay. Since then we have seen many changes including the spinning off of our Restaurant businesses (Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell), the Independent Public Offering of our bottling operations, the new addition of Tropicana and SOBE and the merger with the Quaker Company. Our entrepreneurial roots have shaped the culture we have today, including how we approach the growth and the development of our people.
