Matutano leads the salty snacks market in Portugal with brands such as Ruffles, Lays, Cheetos, Bocabits and Doritos. We now employ approximately 1,000 enthusiastic and commited people, including a strong sales force which visits nearly 70,000 stores every fortnight.
Matutano has a factory equipped with the most modern technologies and with the capacity to produce 4 tons/hour of a variety of products. This plant has been highlighted several times as an example of best practice.
Besides the salty snacks market, Matutano also has an important presence in the macrosnacks market through a joint venture with a Greek enterprise, Chipima. As a result we now also produce a range of delicious croissants.
